The English that you speak is called Inter-language. This is like a bridge you walk across when you go from Japanese to English, a strange language you speak with the vocabulary you have available. But be bold enough to make mistakes! The more you make mistakes the closer you get to the other side of the river. We keep watching for correct growth, not perfect English.
To make it happen we do not depend on textbooks. We try not to teach what teachers want to but what clients want to learn. So most lessons are tailor-made. We adjust our syllabus to the client, not the other way around, so people are aware of their own growth.
We have English pot luck parties from time to time so learners are exposed to "living" English and to a wide range of people with different nationalities.
TAC Language Institute is not an agent for study-abroad programs, but every year several students from TAC Language Institute join high schools, universities or graduate schools abroad, and returnees also join TAC Language School again to polish their English. We introduce people to colleges in Oregon, U.S.A. and in Australia.
